Our Formula SAE team is focused on the design, engineering, and iterative development of a student-built, open-wheel race car, with an unwavering focus on optimizing performance, robust reliability, and core engineering fundamentals. To validate our design choices and gather critical telemetry, we actively campaign the vehicle in local autocross events, which serves as an essential real-world testing platform for continuous improvement and provides members with invaluable hands-on experience in vehicle dynamics, advanced fabrication techniques, and competitive motorsports engineering.

Our MG project represents a unique blend of heritage and high-performance engineering, featuring a classic platform revitalized by students for aggressive local autocross competition. Evolving beyond initial restoration, this undertaking has become a comprehensive engineering challenge focused on precisely tuning and modifying the vehicle to optimize its performance, handling dynamics, and competitive reliability. This distinct build provides our team members with valuable expertise in adapting and modernizing older vehicle architectures while preparing the car for consistent, real-world deployment in grassroots motorsports.
